For All The PC Gamers Out There...

I will have to check out this Dxtory you speak of... I've always fraps'd[DOUBLEPOST=1354746739,1354745930][/DOUBLEPOST]So I just watched a couple tutorial videos having to do with Dxtory and I'm impressed. It seems like the overall consensus is that Fraps is a little better looking but Dxtory has some sick features. The audio splitting is absolutely amazing!

Overall I'm overwhelmed with Dxtory and all of its options. I will have to sit on this info for a while and determine if I really want to learn a program top to bottom like this. Thanks for the info man! :)

You're welcome. It isn't hard to learn, I can tell you the settings I use if you want :D

1. Go into the little folder tab and add the folder you want to record to. Benchmark it by clicking the black circle next to it. (Try recording to a fast HDD or even better an SSD).
2. Click the video settings. Next to 'Dxtory Video Codec', click the pen set it to medium quality and click compress.
3. Next, go to Frame Rate, set it to 30. Output to File Output, File Format AVI, leave the two options unchecked. With scaling, click 'SIZE' and set it to 1280 and 720.
4. Click the Audio tab. Click device, and choose your speakers (headphones, speakers), then click the green + and choose your microphone.
5. That is pretty much all you gotta do, but choose the keyboard and set your keybindings.
Hope this helped!
