Footage retention

Hey, folks! Couple of questions ...

1) How long do you retain your raw footage after you’ve edited a video?

2) Once you have a finished product and upload it, how long do you keep the final edit?

1) How long do you retain your raw footage after you’ve edited a video?

2) Once you have a finished product and upload it, how long do you keep the final edit?

To answer your questions:

1) I delete the raw footage once I'm certain the final edit is indeed the final edit and I've uploaded it to YouTube without any problems, added the thumb, cards, end-screens etc. In other words, once I'm 100% certain that I no longer need the raw footage to rebuild the final edit.

2) I keep the final edit forever both on the hard drive of my PC and also on a backup drive.
