Font Size?

Ok so i have attempted of making my banner 3 times an messed up each time due to forgetting things. Were all human.

Well i use GIMP an i start a new project in the same banner dimensions YouTube recommends 2560 x 1440. But i also seem to use HUGE font, which leads to the banner thats on my channel now.

Its waaay too big, theres more detail to the "KBSVLOG" word. Now what size is a good size? I used 300 on that project, yeah thats pretty big for a little banner.

You need to use a template. Here use this one-

Use a template. You can find them on youtube, search 'gimp one channel template' :)
 
Um do i just put the letters dead in the middle? Not quite sure how to use the template. My first time actually making my own little banner.

Just open that file in Gimp. It's the right size and everything. Then make a new layer and put everything you want on top of the template making sure it's in the boxes :)
 
Ok got everything figured out, i know that i can get away with bigger text next time. Thanks you guys, take a look if you want:)
 
A template is a great idea. I might download that one myself for my channel. Thanks a lot for this thread! :)
