Fiverr (Social Video Marketing) Legit???

Are the gigs on fiverr such as "I will give you 200 YouTube Likes" legit or a scam?

Are some scams and others legit? If some are legit how do you tell?

I'm not too familiar with Fiverr, but as with any site where people offer services, just read the reviews and ratings that vendor has received, and you should easily be able to tell if they're a reliable source or not.

That being said, while they may be able to deliver you 200 likes, why would you want to spend money on fake likes? It does nothing to help the growth of your channel, and will just cast a shadow over your content. Not to mention that it'll look incredibly suspicious to potential viewers. More importantly, while these vendors don't run the risk of getting into any trouble, your channel does if YouTube detects some irregular activity like this. Don't go down that path.

It says in the service offered it's not fake like. The person says they have 200 accounts that will really like the video.

I understand that it's not a "fake like" in the sense that it will still appear as an actual "like" on YouTube. But it's not a real "like" because you're paying someone to give your video two hundred likes, does that make sense? They couldn't care any less about your video, as long as you're giving them money. How does paying someone to give your video two hundred likes help your channel grow? Whenever I get a like on a video, I feel a sense of pride that someone enjoyed my video enough to hit that button. All talk of channel growth aside, what sense of satisfaction would you get from having 200 likes on a video, but knowing that they aren't actual likes? At that rate, I know people on Fiverr also offer to give you hundreds of subscribers for $5 - why not just do that as well then? Because it's pointless. You can spend $50 and buy yourself thousands of subscribers, but when you release a video, of those subscribers you've bought, how many of them are going to actually watch your videos and actually engage? 0.

So my question is still the same - why would you want to spend money on fake likes?

There's several reasons why you don't want to do this.

1. It violates YouTube's terms of service.
2. Although they may like the video they won't actually watch it which will drive down your average view time.
3. It's a complete waste of time. What are 200 likes going to do for you? People can spot bs from a mile a way.
4. It's a waste of $5.

100% buying likes, views, subs, etc is going to kill your channel.
