First time script writing? Any tips or advice?

Somehing that works for me is getting all my ideas down on paper then sculpting that into words that fit

Just remember you're only writing what you see. A lot of people put way too much detail in their scripts and it's a waste of time. For example, there's no point in putting what people are thinking because we're not gonna see it on screen.
