First proper video! IN HD!

Hey guys!

Hope all is good, I uploaded my first proper video recently and so far feedback has been awesome, but I wouldn't mind some feedback from other creators!

I had a gaming channel originally to build my confidence before I went on to do proper face involving videos!

So yeah, be as harsh as needs be, My camera can do better quality but the manual focus wasn't completely done properly!
So yeah! It's the only video on my channel :)

I definitely think you have potential. Some things I think you could do to make future vlogs more interesting would be have more props (not necessarily like the loud hat near the beginning, but things to show the camera. It makes you seem more of a real person) and a background other than a wall. Show your room or office or have a window (unless that ruins your lighting). Something other than that wall!

Since you said be harsh ( :p ), your hair covering up your eye and the earrings were really distracting. I found my eyes drawn to those instead of your actual face, and away from listening to what you had to say. If that is your style, by all means go for it (perhaps a different color of earrings might be less distracting) but that is something to keep in mind.

Anyway, good job :) I've been doing YouTube, and I'd say my confidence has gone up a little bit, though I still hide behind animation (it is very good animation, I feel no need to share my face :p ).

Woah thanks man! Yeah I was looking at buying a few props and what not. Haha yeah it's my style but I get where you are coming from completely. I'll remember that when I next record!

1 thing that's making me cringe straight away are 2 things..

1) You're standing far to close to that wall
2) It's a plan.. flat.. wall.. stand with a corner in the background or something, it will give the video more depth and it will just look a bit nicer :)

Yeah, I know what you mean.. I don't really have a corner I could do it in :( Although I do have a very very nice turquoisy blue wall I could stand in front of? What do you think?

Indeed I shall, I did have to record around 4 times because of bad positioning. Sadly it's only a really small bit of wall :([DOUBLEPOST=1386500019,1386466555][/DOUBLEPOST]BUMP
