Yeah, so far I didn't sign up with a MCN. Mainly because I am really skeptical. I saw a point in networks when not everyone had the chance to monetize but these days I hear a lot about not really benefiting from it. From a business perspective I can understand them, sign a lot of YouTubers, tell a lot of investors that you have a giant reach and marketing potential, then make a big exit selling the company to someone bigger from traditional media (TV, Disney....). Yay, you're rich.

Not all of them of course. But I do YouTube because I want it to be something for me...not work for someone else again.
 
You can get paid on here? I thought this was just a place to cry for attention in hopes somebody would care on the internet since no one in real life you know does.
