First Dislike

So my girlfriend and I recently rebooted our channel so to speak. All new videos and so on and one of them as received the first dislike we've got. It made me smile amazingly, I thought it would upset me but honestly if someone out there watched our video and felt strong enough to do something about it then that's awesome to me. So my question for everyone is, what was your first dislike on, how did you react and how did you feel about it?
 
I recieved my first dislike on a minecraft video because someone on the minecraft forum didn't like that I disagreed with him about the best way to improve fps on modpacks so he disliked my video about improving fps lol Had more since then but i just ignore them. You can't please everyone
 
I've received a few. I find that most dislikes come when I advertise a particular game on its dedicated website. For example, my first Robot Arena game got two dislikes, both because I advertised on the RA website.
It hurts a bit, especially when dislikes outweigh likes. But everyone gets dislikes, and we mus carry on!

Yeah I guessed the same thing. Since the video it's on is about a game so therefore people will defend it to the death if a negative word is said, even though the probably don't understand the context of what was said. Plus I put it onto said games Sub Reddit. But yeah, I assume a lot will hurt but as you said, we carry on!
 
Don't remember when the first one came, but I get both liked and dislikes now on a daily basis so I started not caring about them ages ago.
 
I haven't received any dislikes yet, but I'm sure it will be a put back. You have to make videos remembering that not every one will like your content, that is just a stone cold fact.
 
I've only had likes so far but unless I start getting an unusual amount of dislikes I don't think it will bother me. I can't expect everyone to like my videos in the same way I don't like everyone else's videos.
 
I receive dislikes all the time! My first dislike came with a strong hater who proceeded to comment on my videos and insult me. I laughed so much because I can't believe someone really took their time to do that... LOL
