First Copyright Strike

I've heard Sega giving out copyright claims for one of their games, but I saw tons of videos of Yakuza 4 out on Youtube, even including cutscenes and no commentary, so it only made sense to me that the game would be fine.

You can delete the video, I think that removes the strike :)

Removing a video with a copyright strike does not remove the copyright strike at all, a copyright strike is different from a copyright claim, there are two options for copyright claims, first one is acknowledge the copyright and the second is if the video is blocked then you can delete it, if it is removed by Google/YouTube, you will have a copyright strike which will be removed after 6 months provided you gain no extra strikes.

I have one strike and removed the video, and I got a copyright claim and removed the video without a strike or further problem, but it seems to be affecting my Monetization, I am not getting Monetized on my new video's, even though none use copyright material and the restrictions on my account say that my videos are still illegible for Monetization, 6 months is a long way off before my account is in good standing again for longer video's, however my overall revenue is up from linking videos to my previous Monetized vids and Playlists.

I've already been explained about this man.
But thanks for the detail.

Just wait it out, 6 months isn't that long.. If your channel is really small then perhaps consider moving but otherwise that wouldn't be worth it. If you're only losing like $2 a month not being able to monetize then it's hardly a big deal to wait 6 months.

Or... contact the claimant and for it to be retracted, you can find the copyright representative's email at www.youtube.com/copyright_counter.

My channel is small enough for me to start over, so I'll just create a new channel. Really the biggest problem I have with it is I plan on getting into a network as soon as a decent one thinks I'm good enough, so I can't have that strike.
