First attempt at live streaming

I just made my first attempt at live streaming. I downloaded an app, lay in bed, and chit chatted to the camera on my phone.

Let's just say, it was not good.

But people watched! And asked questions! I think at one point there were 12 people watching, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it's more than I thought would be watching.

Have you live streamed? Thoughts?

I once started mucking about with the periscope app. Not knowing what I was doing I inadvertently started live streaming myself fresh out the shower as I was fiddling about with the app settings, frowning intently with no clothes on! thankfully nothing inappropriate was seen! But people did view it, and probably wondered what the hell was going on

I would totally most definitely most probably most likely maybe dabble with the YouTube streaming at some point, but I'd withhold for a long time until (IF) I get a significant amount of subscribers. I can imagine it would be video game related and I would plan on not being sober.

Thing is, if I was some swanky looking hot blonde I'd have gotten thousands of views. not sure many people like seeing a 34 year old dude with a fat paunch! haha.

I love live streaming! It's a great way to interact with your subscribers. I try to do it atleast 2 times a week and it seems to grow my channel everytime I do it.

Personally i didnt try live streaming but used to navigate through YouNow and watch what others do. i believe live streaming is always suitable for vloggers because their fans love to watch them in nature and to talk with them and ask them questions.

I livestreamed on YouNow once. My experience wasn't that great either. I think it was mainly because I was nervous, though.

+1 on that.

The other benefit of live streaming is the fact that you don't have to do any editing or post-production afterwards. The video is saved as a regular YouTube video. It's a great way to not only engage, but get more views and produce videos on a regular basis.
