First 24 hours of a video

For my videos I tend to get about 33% of my subscriber count in video views. After that it falls flat. Some videos keep on going such as my cars & coffee ones. But they appeal to a broader audience. You can shoot for whatever goal you want, but as soon as the subscriber count goes up the ratio drops. And that usually gets worse the more subscribers you have.

The first 24 hours are the most important. If you want to go viral, your video needs early views to reach the homepage. I usually get 10-20% of the total amount of views I receive in the first 24 hours.

You may be seeing a large subs/view ratio now while your channel is small. I would check your audience retention to see if it is over 30%. That would mean that your subscribers are enjoying your content. Getting a view is just the tip of the iceberg.

Thank you guys for all the responses they all help tremendously! I didn't even think about looking at how long they viewed the videos till your post markkaz, thank you for that.
