Finding Your Shared Videos on Reddit

Munchito696

I Love YTtalk
So I'm looking at my analytics and a couple of my videos got a bunch of sudden views from Reddit which I rarely use. Somebody else must have posted my videos in there somewhere. Does anybody know a good way to find where your video was shared within the site? I've tried searching on Reddit, tried typing in the end of my URL and searching with search engines, etc. and can't find where they shared it. I know typing in the end of the URL from the "watch?" part to the end is a good way to find where they were shared most of the time, but this doesn't seem to work for Reddit.

Thanks @Eaglewolf Magic for recommending Tube Buddy earlier! I was able to find WHO shared my videos on Reddit and it took me to the exact post. I also like the feature where you can search on Facebook, it shows all of the different times people shared each video. SO many more analytics capabilities I am seeing and I've barely started trying it out. I saw somebody entered one of my videos on some pet video of the week voting type of thing and saw some other people bad mouthing one of my other videos lol. I didn't know you could literally see people's posts that you don't even know when they include your video link. Try it out! It was SO easy to find where they shared on Reddit, I was amazed because I was searching around for a couple hours. It took me right to it!

This is definitely my favourite feature of Tubebuddy, and it's one of the biggest reasons I was able to grow rapidly on Reddit. I looked at where channels in my niche posted on reddit, and compiled a big list.

But what do you mean by being able to search on Facebook? For me only the reddit links work. I can see a number that displays how many times my videos was displayed on Facebook, but clicking it doesn't do anything.

I'm using Google Chrome if that makes any difference. Here's one example when I click the Facebook icon.

right that's it, I'm getting tube buddy, this is too valuable to miss out on!
Tomorrow I'm going to look at some viral dog videos and see where they were shared and try to jump on the train. I feel like a kid that just got a new video game with this plug-in! You can literally look at other people's tags, where their videos were shared, and a bunch of other stuff I used to be curious of. It's almost like you can be a YouTube spy in a way

My question is the opposite: how do I get other people to share my videos on Reddit? :p
This is one of my YouTube specialties: getting other people to share. A lot of my views come from finding the right sites or people to share videos with, then they share it to a platform with a much bigger following than me. One of my not so exciting videos would probably be at maybe 5,000 views by now, but it passed 250k not too long ago and it all started with one twitter message. The key is finding somebody who will definitely like your content who also has access to a big platform. This is tough, you have to balance how popular their platform is with the fact that if they are more popular, they probably get bombarded with content. Sometimes finding a "middle man" is a good option... A less popular platform that a bigger platform may follow is one strategy I use. For your videos I'm not sure what route I would take, but I have kind of figured out dog and GoPro videos.
