Finally created an intro, is it any good?

Well I finally got around to creating an intro for my channel. I wanted it to be as simplistic and quick as it could be, as that's kinda what my channel embodies.

My biggest concern is that it just sounds like crap and will actually drive people away. I certainly do no have a 'singing' voice, and even though it's only a few words I still get concerned. Haha

I guess what I'm asking is if you think the intro is good or could use some work?

I like it and I like how concise it is. But, just a suggestion, maybe you could move away from the whole mario motif with the text font and the pipe background in order to create something more individual. I like what you're doing but I feel like you need a more unique aesthetic in order to stand out. Maybe also make your icon the cartoon face instead of the "60 second reviews" text.

I'm subbing though, cuz I like what you're doing. Cool vids, man.

For sure, I appreciate the suggestion. I've honestly been trying to think of a way to move away from it for a few reasons. One of them mainly being Copyright stuff. I don't wanna get into that whole mess.

But I'm not really sure where to go with it. I would still like it to have some sort of video-game feel to it, but I'm just a bit lost on where to go from here.

Also, what exactly do you mean by making my icon the just cartoon face? Just having the face alone feels like it would be rather bland. Did you have anything specific in your head?

I feel like using the face with some kind of background wouldn't be bland at all, it would make your icon instantly recognizable to people. I can mock up some tests for you if you'd like if you'll let me use your art assets.
