FINAL CUT PRO X VS PREMIERE PRO

Question: I've been playing around with Adobe Premiere CC and I noticed the video transitions were not that amazing. I use to use Movie Maker and honestly I didn't notice much of a difference for the video transition and thats what I was mostly looking forward to.

Please correct me if I am wrong I really hope I am because it would be nice to have more creative video transitions.

I feel that creative cloud is quite an expensive venture for the average individual. Final Cut Pro is what the professionals use so it is an Industry grade program and it is really good!

I've use both but Premiere pro sits better with me though. Just personal preference and since I don't have a Mac i have no choice of selection. Aftereffects has a very steep learning curve even if you have experience in video editing. The faster way to "learn" it is by focusing on the basic things and rely on tutorials for the more advanced stuff that you want to create. A good foundation is always paramount. :)

I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro.
If you have any personal experience with Adobe products weather it be Macromedia Flash 8 or CS6 and Adobe After Effects
It's pretty much the same in a lot of aspects.

I know quite a bit of people who don't like the software but I never had any issues with it.

From an Industry standpoint Final Cut is trying to rise from the ashes. But it's still a fossil. Premier has surpassed it as Final cut has taken a more family friendly approach with the new version. If you can get your hands on a copy of Final Cut 7 though, you will have a great starting point.

(Just don't install the new FC after you install FC7, it will delete it like a child)
