Final Cut Pro Question

Hi guys,

trying to upload my video to youtube but first I need to save the file.

It won't let me share the file as master file, any suggestions?

Hey,

First you're aware that Final Cut saves automatically? But I don't think that's your question.

From your image it looks like you're trying to export a whole event as video file. Careful what you've got selected before sharing. Are you not just trying to share the video you just created? I wonder if you had the projected selected or if you were actively clicked inside the timeline it would work.

I am still lost :(

Not sure what I've done[DOUBLEPOST=1454256937,1454256562][/DOUBLEPOST]Im getting this message "This item cannot be shared while it is still referencing media on the camera."
 
Have you copied your video files off the SD card and into a folder on your hard drive somewhere? Sounds like Final Cut is still working with the original files straight off the camera.

Hi,

yes I have transferred them all across (pretty sure I have)

When I take my SD card out I am getting the red error message on final cut

ahhhh!! Stressing me out so much :(

Looks like you were still working off SD card. Put it back in and see if that helps.

Before exporting click on the timeline then export. If you click on a clip in the library it will only export that clip.

Hi james,

still having problems, do you have Skype / team viewer where you can remote in on my mac and see what I am doing wrong?
