Hello i have a problem with bandicam. I have recorded for 31 minutes and the file is 5.40GB. Before i re-installed windows 8 it was not that big. can someone tell me why they are so big? and help me fix the problem?

There's a variety of factors that decide how large a file is. Resolution, framerate, video bitrate, audio quality... Personally, I haven't ever used Bandicam so I don't know which of these you could change, but I can imagine that you can select your resolution, bitrate, audio quality, etc. But honestly, 5.40GB isn't that big IMO. I think it's nicer to edit using files of a higher bitrate and compress the entire thing afterwards when exporting. If you have plenty of space on your hard disk, I wouldn't worry about it.

What settings were changed when you reinstalled Windows 8?
Or, what has been different since you reinstalled Windows 8?

That's nothing, I have a video sitting on my HDD that's 18 minutes long and is 64.4GB.. :p

Since you re-installed Windows it means your settings were reset, did you set your settings in bandicam back to your liking?
