is it best to put all videos into a playlist? My videos are mostly drone videos and iv only got 5 videos lol but i cant seem to get many views/likes/ subs etc and there not bad videos tbh but i thought id get more likes etc but hey ho. Should i put monetization up straight away or take it off? Some people do far worse videos than mine yet seen to have views in the hundreds i dont get it?

It takes time to create a viewerbase. I would suggest taking off monetization until you have said viewerbase.

I would have thought to monetize from day 1. You don't know when or what video will produce impressive growth so I would rather be prepared for when it does happen.

Also, I would focus on creating content and growing your content library. If your content is good, the views will come.

You also need to ensure that you are targeting the right audience with your title, thumbnail & metadata.

Hope this helps!

It seems like you might turn away some viewers when you monetize right away, but I wouldn't know.

I agree with all of the above.

I really don't think that monetising will hamper your growth, so you may as well start immediately.

Also your focus, especially as a new channel, should be to produce great content on a regular basis. Even if you are not great at SEO, or don't always make the best choice regarding playlists or other features, people will always watch and share good content.

I personally don't think monetizing early on is a bad thing. Honestly, most people watching YouTube videos probably don't even know if the creators can even turn on and off "monetization." Seems to be strictly off-putting for people that are creators themselves.

Playlists are good. Treat them as if you were uploading another "video." You're basically creating a new content piece for YouTube. It can also aid in total session watch time (very important for growth) if viewers decide to sift through the playlist past the first video.
