Loving YTtalk
When I have ideas for videos, I usually have a full concise idea for what I want to do. That includes actual video content, editing and music. But I always find myself being limited on what I can do because of all of the copyright rules on music with YouTube. For example: I listen to a semi big reggae group called Rebelution. One of their songs would have went perfect with a video that I wanted to do, but I couldn't get permission from them to use the song so I was stuck. Not because they said no, but because they plain didn't respond, which I can understand. (It's not even mainly them, but their record company.)
So I wanted to know if anyone else has been affected by the limitations in their own videos, and how you overcame them. For anyone who has had a big song used legally in their video, how did you get permission or who did you contact?

Also if you want I can produce something customized for you!
