So it's true!

Good thumbnail - editing - and commentary actually does pay off.

I just finished uploading my video, took a whole day to edit (procrastinated a lot, haha), and finally managed to pull it off about 40 minutes ago, and it already has 20 views, which, I haven't gotten in a long time over the course of other videos, that I did with just this single video within 40 minutes.

So to everyone that's feeling demotivated, think to yourself, and question yourself:

Are you really putting it your all in the video to make it better for the viewers to watch?

If you are, then your videos will surely be watched!

It's thanks to this forum and it's recommendations that I managed to pull this video off, so I thank all those people for helping me make this and initially motivating me back into YouTube!

I am so glad you are motivated! So far, I haven't felt demotivated about YouTube, despite my low views. I am actually really enjoying making videos and doing something productive!

I wasn't getting why I was feeling demotivated, then it dawned upon me that I was feeling that way due to the fact I wasn't enjoying making what I was - which was let's plays. I seem to like making videos of games that are just like, one-time plays. I will still upload let's plays from time to time, but I think I'll be doing this more.

And that's good to not feel demotivated! I mean we - the small ones - start off YouTube as something to do for fun, don't we? Haha.

Congratulations! Good work often pays off, and even if it's not immediately obvious, I think it pays off just in pride of accomplishment.

Yeah! I was really proud of what I made it, and it paid off both in a satisfaction kind of proud way, and also the response. Haha.

Pride in work well-done is a great feeling. It's much better to find your own happiness than to look for it from others.

True, that's why I changed my course and now I'm doing what I actually enjoy uploading. :D

Awesome job! Hard work pays off :) Do not lose that motivation! :)

It does, and thank you! By the help from the great people of this forum, I'm sure I'm not losing my motivation anytime soon! :)
