Feeling Discouraged

No need to feel discouraged. You look great and have a great personality. To improve your content, I would take note of the following: try to maintain eye contact with the camera more. This is your audience, and when you look off to your notes, or whatever it is, is disconnects with us. I'd try and practice what you're going to say in a mirror several times before you record anything. Or, position your notes above your camera rather than to the side (assuming it is notes). Or if you have the $ buy a teleprompter. Maybe there's even a phone app teleprompter, I'm not sure. But that way your eyes will maintain focus in our direction, and I'm sure people will then feel more engaged. You have a lot of subscribers so I wouldn't feel down in the slightest, you're doing a great job. Everything just takes time.

You sub count is pretty average considering the time span. YouTube is exponential growth so you really shouldn't expect be too worried about growth. In the inflated way that YouTube is, it takes about 2 years to make 1000 subs. You have more than I do and in a smaller time span.

Just keep doing you and more success will follow! I do my best to talk about things that can help out almost everyone and my channel is growing at a GLACIAL pace. Have fun with the process and know you're putting out quality product.
