Featured Video on the NEW YouTube layout?

I've Got It
I constantly switch back and forth between the new and old YouTube layouts...because I don't know which one will be better for my channel. My "CHANNEL VIEWS" since switching over according to my SocialBlade stats are non existent meanwhile under the old layout, I was doing 250-300 a day for a small channel like mine...but also, when I featured a video on the old layout, it would be great and get those views for me for people visiting my channel. Now, the "UNSUBSCRIBED VIDEO" is the video that newcomers will see, but is that the FEATURED video for my channel? Like I said, I switched back and forth between new and old but when I go back to the old, its a different video. can someone help me understand this...and possibly give me reasons why my channel views are basically ZERO?
 
The unsubscribed trailer is a video that only plays for people who are not subscribed to you. Therefor, your channel views will drop. It's a bit different than the featured video with the old layout, as only non subscribers will see it. I say just stick with the new layout, as you will be forced to switch over eventually.

So is there no more FEATURED video like the old layout? I'd like my SUBS to know what I want them to see before anything else

The only way to feature a video with the new layout is to pay for it-if you use in video programming to feature a video, that video will default to the top position to your subscribers.

you can change the video manually.. but only will play for those not subcribe to you.. and by feauture, i think YT recommends videos not seen by your subcribers on you homepage.
