Hey there! So, I'm looking for people who run high quality gaming channels and are looking to grow their audience through legit means; uploading high quality content with a prompt schedule. That means, whether you upload one vid a month, three vids a week or even one a day, you keep to it as best you can. And what is featured channel trade or box for box? I expect most people here know, but it's quite simple: I feature your channel on mine, and you feature my channel on yours! Which means that both of us should see some growth.
What I'm looking for:
I want to feature channels that my subscribers and viewers might be interested in, so it should have some relevance to gaming, of course! I'm currently approaching200 1000 subscribers, so if you are within the same range, (1000-5000) that would be great. Higher and lower is naturally fine too - your content is the main thing! And if you are only at 400 subscribers but gaining them rapidly, be sure to mention that - growth is the important thing, after all.
Your content
Any video games that you love making videos for, basically! For example, my channel focuses on Dark Souls, but I of course play other games - GTAV is just around the corner and will prove a very popular subject in the upcoming months. Whether you make LPs, guides or even just funny videos, as long as it's80% 60% game related, that's fine!
Update: So obviously, if you run a v-log or review channel and happen to cover video games now and then, that's fine too. The idea is that viewers who look at my channel should want to look at your channel, and vice versa.
You
18+, English speaking. It would be great if you were within a few hours of the GMT timezone, but that's not really all too important - it would make any potential collaborations in the future easier, but it's not a big deal. If you are willing to give dual commentaries and such a shot, that always helps. But the main thing is that you are mature (even if you act immature in your videos from time to time!) and most of all, polite. I try my best to treat all my viewers (even the ones who are just flinging insults!) well, and I'd want to feature someone who does the same.
Me
I'm a 23 y/o European living in the UK (close to London) and I started my channel back in Feb - but around June/July I started working seriously on my channel. I had made my channel with the intent on 'practicing' for Dark Souls 2 - I wanted to make videos so I would be ready and well-versed in it by the time DaS2 came out! My channel is a mix of guides/walkthroughs and let's plays with commentary (Lately I've been uploading a Dead Space 3 dual-commentary with a friend) and I'm interested in live-streaming, which I'm mostly keeping to twitch for now, until youtube improves its systems. My channel is growing slowly but steadily (100+ subscribers in the last 10 days etc) which I feel comes largely from keeping a prompt schedule. I have my own art person who is kind enough to produce me high quality thumbnails and banners etc, and I'm also partnered with Machinima. I play on xbox 360 and PC.
TL;DR
