Far Cry 3 was an amazing game but I've never played Far Cry 2. Which do you like better?

I actually haven't played Far Cry 3 yet, but considering that Far Cry 2 is one of my all-time favorite games, I doubt that FC3 will beat it, although I would still probably find it to be an awesome game.
