I definitely agree with this, although of course it's nice to have people watching and be thankful/grateful for their support, entitled fans are terrible. I saw a comment on a YouTube video the other day complaining that a user (a rather big YouTuber, admittedly) hadn't uploaded often recently and that it was "his job" to do so. I don't even know where to start with that.
Then again I'm subscribed to a YouTube who got pretty big and has literally stopped uploading and taken a year out to sort some things out and I really see no reason to complain about a lack of videos, it's just a mindset of some entitled viewers, I suppose.
Entitled fans in any entertainment industry are the worst fans. Why can't fans just enjoy old videos? You are not entitled to an autograph, picture, or information about a person's personal life. It's a basic relationship between entertainers and fans. They pay entertainers and in return the entertainers give a quality product. Of course this same view about the pay for entertainment does not apply to YouTube because fans get our videos for free.
