I think it's the whole "I want to be cool and know the bands they are talking about", also they probably don't want to offend anyone when they say "Oh I never heard of them...". Honestly I'd tell the camera people that I never heard of them haha, but that's just me.

I used to go on different band forums and talk about the Phoreskins.. and you would be amazed at how many people would talk them up... It was good times.. I should maybe create a youtube page for them/
