FAIR USE

You can get away with games (and even then not all of them) but stay away from movie clips, movie trailers, tv shows, cartoons, music videos and songs from actual artists.

YouTube isn't a person. It's all automated and most of the times they seem to accept and reject videos at random. There's always a risk they'll eventually find that video and take it down. It also depends what cartoons they were and what companies make them. If, for example WB suddenly decided to take down all their cartoons off of YouTube, they'll take them all down including yours.

Hi . I am curious as to why most my videos are declined monetization when they are clearly fair use ? . My most recent video on miley cyrus shows clips of her video with commentary ..i put i dont own the rights and that it is fair use and it isnt good enough ? Any advice ? Or can u look at vid and tell me if it is fair use ? Thank u

Fair use is an argument you use in court when Sony has sued you for $1,000,000
Fair use is not a piece of text you can use to monetize other peoples content.
