FaceCam Without OBS or Xsplit! HELP!

I really want to do face-cam with my console game plays as my PC wont run games and record at the same time. Does anyone know how i can add face-cam with my audio on? or a webcam that has great sound quality so i can record both video and audio using one device? right now my webcam is to laggy to sync up audio to.
 
I have camtasia screen recorder, but i only use it for webcam, and then fraps for gameplay, then camtasia studio to edit the video together

Try OBS. It usually uses less CPU usage than other screen recorders out there. Test it out and let me know .if you do your settings correctly then I think you can get it to work.
 
Ive tried OBS before on the lowest settings and it just skips and drops frames all the time and is impossible to record

Sounds like it's time for an upgrade to hour PC. But, take screen shots of all of your obs settings and post them. I might can help.

Yeah im planning on building my own pc but aint got the money yet. Ill see what I can do tomorrow for the screen shots
