Facecam...necessary or depends?

It depends . I am making animated history videos and i don't need a camera. Just a pretty ok microphone to record my script and a lot of time ti animate But I don't need a camera I think, anything you want to create on YOUTUBE you can do without camera, (i think you don't want to do vlogs), if you want vlogging, then you will need a camera ! Go on, and create content!

For most videos, it's not necessary. Maybe for games, e.g. in horror games it's nice to see faces and reactions.
