I am about ready to launch a new YouTube channel. The channels username is based on nickname people used to call me. So a few years ago out of boredom I created a Facebook page for that name, and it got like 16 fans or something. Now I want to start and a YouTube channel and since I already have the Facebook page created, I was wondering if I should use it or not? Do people even use facebook anymore? I noticed a lot "famous" youtubers don't even use their Facebook page and the posts don't reach everyone anymore. What are your thoughts on using a Facebook page for YouTube, does it work as a marketing tool? Does it work as an interaction between you and your subscribers? I don't want to have too many social networks to manage I am wondering if Facebook is worth it.
