I have started a new experimental channel.

I created it last night / thought of a very basic idea / Knocked up channel art in Paint / Knocked up intro in Movie Maker / Created and scheduled the first 7 videos over the next 7 days.

I want to see how fast/slow I can reach 100subs/10'000views (And more if it goes OK) just by using what I have learned from this forum. IE Thumbnails / Titles / Description / Tags etc

I am not going to advertise the channel anywhere (Incl here) / just let it grow naturally (if its possible).

I will report back in a week. Wish me luck.
 
What is the subject of the channel? Because that will say a lot about the growth as well. I do admit I'll be a bit salty if you reach a 100 in a week, while I've just gained 42 after a month :P
 
Thanks - Its a very basic top 10 kind of channel. Very short and sweet.
Whilst I am still with no subs I uploaded 5 further videos last night so that I have a bigger library trying to catch views.
Its been over 12 hours since the first scheduled video landed.
So far I have a total of 3 views!

I've thought about trying this. Make sure to let us know in this thread instead of making a new one.
 
This is a fantastic idea and I hope you succeed! Please keep updating this as you go so we get to live vicariously through your exploits :)

I have a feeling that top 5 and 10 channels do ok because people are searching for those and genuinely just want to be entertained and informed, but don't always care what about. There's a channel by a UK chap (i assume) called Top5s and that guy is my hero. Supernatural fun topics and a really great way to spook one's self before bedtime! ;)
