Experience with Sponsorship?

Does anyone have experience with sponsors? What did they get/what did you give them?

We are a comedy channel, fairly new with only 190 subs so far. Can't really offer them a lot in terms of exposure yet, but we need some support to film in various locations for our sketches. Ie. a bar, a coffee shop etc.

Any ideas?

Cheers!
Mike

If all you need is help with location. You can go to the place, explain to them what Youtube is and tell them that it's possible that the video could be seen by no one or the video could go viral. And that you will post the name of the company in the video. They will usually says ok to this.

Also, if you want to get anything professional written down, it's a good idea to find a lawyer to write up a quick contract that would protect you.

That is some great advice, thank you very much! I have approached places and often the big box ones are uncomfortable doing this without talking to a district manager or something which can take ages. I should aim for smaller mom and pop shops I suppose.
