So I had Sony Vegas Pro 13 & Photoshop CS6. Great software, must have for any YouTuber.
Then the stupid side of me kicked in and decided to invest in an SSD. Put the OS on it yadayada...
I wanted to make a real effort with my channel this year so I bought a Logitech Webcam, Lighting Kit, SSD, all that good stuff. So far I've spent £120 or $180 this year upgrading stuff, and being a student that obliterated ye olde piggy bank.
Anyway back on track. After putting the OS on to the SSD all my programs have to be reinstalled, photoshop, vegas, everything. Of course I don't have vegas "legit" who does? It's £350!.. and I have tried installing it using the patch, which now doesn't work.. Same with photoshop.. Which now means I have no way of creating thumbnails or editing video professionally.
Now to why I made this thread, i'm going to have to buy Adobe Photoshop Elements (£50) which I know will meet my needs and Sony Movie Studio HD (£35) which looks a lot like Vegas so I was just wondering is it any good? Does it render in 1080p 60fps? Does it have many transitions? etc.
The software itself is not compatible with .veg files from vegas which I have plenty of but it's something i'm gonna have to deal with...
Any feedback would be great, it's not a lot of money that I need to save but it would be good to know if the software was actually half decent. Thanks peeps!
