Everywhere vs Monetized plateforms only

Hi,

I was wondering why my earnings were so low, and I think I got the answer :

72% of my views are from a mobile devise (mostly iOS and Android). Sor for example, for the last day of January, I made 186.472, which correponds to 195.6$ (which is not so bad, but could still be better).

Do you guys think it could solve the problem to turn all my videos to "Monetized plateforms only" ? Or maybe I could try just for one or two days, to see if it makes a difference compares to the other option.

Or shoud I just let has it is ?

please try it and report back.

Only 30% of my views are monetized. Most of them come from mobile or are embedded in blogs and other places...

I don't think so, why only let people who can get ads watch your video? Turning away people just because they can't get ads seems silly.

If you turn it to "Monetized platforms only" you are only going to allow people that are watching on a platform that makes you money. I don't see why anyone would do that. You should be doing youtube as a way to make people happy and laugh, Making money is just a bonus, I wouldent ever do that to my subs or even think about it.

So i wouldnt do that if I was you, But hey I can't stop you.

With the new android and iOS updates over the last year and a bit, the vast majority of mobile views are ad supported.

But YouTubers do not get paid for mobile views....

That would require documentation from YouTube somewhere to confirm that they take 100% of mobile ad revenue. I think you may find this confirmation difficult to obtain.
