Everyone is a partner! D:

The only reason i want to be a partner eventually is to make money, because then it's like a fun job and considering i dont have a lot of skils, id definately need the money XD
I don't care about the money, I just want a little backup so when YT comes at me with the content ID hammer, I "may" have some help.

I woudn't go so far as to say I don't care about the money, but if I had any other way of making money I probably wouldnt even consider partnering

But more subs means you can join a better network, doesn't it?
If we ever plan on joining anything, it will most likely be TGS. (Way ahead in the future)
Well true, but many of the "lower" networks still offer some great stuff people might use. Plus, take a short contract and you can apply to a bigger one when you grow :p

No, the only reason for joining a partnership isn't the money, there are many reasons people join networks.

1. For music libraries
2. For gaming licenses a lot of people joined for
3. Clickable anywhere banners (gone)
4. Custom backgrounds (gone)
5. Prestige
6. Protection from click bombing
7. The whims of google adsense shutting down people's accounts for nefarious reasons
8. To be part of a group so they could possible collaborate with people higher up because that's pretty fun

I just gave you 8 reasons other than purely making money that people wanted to or want to partner, of course a couple of those reasons are obsolete due to the new channel design. :)

I waited years before I decided to partner, now I am wishing I hadn't. Not really any benefits I can see. Only difference I noticed is they take some of your money.
