Everybody needs to chill out about the new layout

If you like the new layout, you've either never been a partner or you're blind.

The new layout takes ALL the advantages away from being partenered, and it's just flat out ugly.

It seems a lot of the people who want it, want it because they aren't a full partner and just want the banner that everyone gets when it does get rolled out. Not saying this is everybody but this is why a lot of the silver partners want it...and they are kinda blinded by that alone. They don't see all the glitches that have been reported, the uneasiness of setting it up and just the terrible design that comes with it...well I guess the design im my opinion but its awful looking.

We just wanted it to get a 2 week head start over everyone else on designing/implementation. We didn't really care about losing the background/banner at all-mostly because less than 10% of our total views are tied to it, so even if the new layout is a complete failure and half of our channel views go away, it only accounts for a 5% overall loss in views each day.
