Everybody needs to chill out about the new layout

Thats something I am hoping too, I would at least like to be able to position the elements of the banner like the avatar and the links if theres no image mapping available, I wonder if we will be limited to just the one external link too.
 
I think it's dope!! A much needed change.

Moved from Myspace to Facebook in terms of design.
Those who have partnerships can still customize their banner, so your creativity can shine through that!

I love the video setup on the new page and I believe it encourages people to click through your videos!

Because building your entire career out of something that is not here to stay and then crying because it changed is both nonsense and childish?

I mean what, YouTube should not change because a couple Call of Duty kids want to have cool backgrounds with lasers?

More people for you to try and design for.

Instead of complaining that your work is halved, try to find a way to break into the market of designing all the new banners.

With change comes opportunity.
Such is life.
