Ever see a channel and think, how could this person possibly have more subscribers than me? They just have garbage content / sub par content but manage to keep gaining subs... I mean, I know everyone says "oh don't worry about numbers" and I know YTTalk is supposed to be all about positivity, support and butterflies.... but I know some of you gotta think that sometimes....

And I'm not just talking about small youtubers either... this thought has ran through my head about bigger ones as well, haha...

Considering I haven't really posted more than one video, which was a small edited car trip, I don't have the right to really think that. Though yes, I do occasionally see channels or videos where I question "Why are people even enjoying this? This channel over here is 20x better, but has 1/5 the subs you do."

And then you ask these so so youtubers where they promote and they're like "vague vague vague, social media, vague, community interaction, vague," .... I always feel like they're leaving something out, bahahaha[DOUBLEPOST=1433527288,1433527219][/DOUBLEPOST]

I've never looked at your channel till just now and I must say I haven't seen a POV car vlog like that. Unique.
 
I kind of think like this sometimes, yes.. I think a lot of it has to do with 'getting yourself out there'
Personally, I hate when people obnoxiously advertise their channels all over other peoples videos (I wont name any names.. But a few people come to mind..) but it's a shame because it actually works,
I feel like if I advertised everywhere I'd get a lot more subscribers, but I don't want to do that, I hate it when people do it so why would I do it? Hmm, It also feels really fake a forced and you might get a lot of 'fake' subscribers from it who don't actually care about your content (and don't get me STARTED on sub for sub.. Ugh!)

But yes, I do feel like I could do as good as/better than some YouTubers who have 10x the amount of subs I do, but only because they're video quality, editing, camera presence, content ect.. Not because I think i'm amazing!

These people just found a way to make their channel grow... Content is important, but there are many ways to grow your channel.

You think the content may be worse, but apparently the viewers think otherwise. It's not up to you (or me) to decide where the viewers will watch their stuff ;). Or the other "better" channels are marketing their content worse...
