Well... captain obvious... That's why you start YouTube because you want to share your videos / passion for the art with others without expecting the world. Expect the world, and you will never get there. YouTube stars got where they are now because they loved what they where doing. Not because they planned to be a YouTube star. Plan to be a YouTube star and people will see the fake drip off your videos. And nothing turns a potential subscriber away from a channel faster.

Be yourself, make videos... and be happy.
 
On some occasions, especially if i got some heat, i thought, i may love this, but maybe at another time...but now, 480 subs in, 1 year later, i say, COME AT ME BRO! Because my passion for this journey will get me through the tough times! Because i LOVE making others laugh, its what i do, even to the gingers, (such as myself) who are SOUL searching, if you laugh, youve made my day, so DONT GIVE UP! And if you must, rather GIVE MANA!

Yeah, I'm a big fan too. They sound a bit cheesy at first but sometimes just one sentence can really hit home and make a difference. :up:
 
I love YouTube and making videos, so I don't ever feel like giving up. However. I think my attitude would have been much different had I not found this forum. Interacting with other passionate people who also have their own growth struggles and successes helps keep me grounded.
 
Honestly the best advice I ever heard was from a youtube, Woodysgamertag, who basically just said to just get up and do what you want to do. The main thing is, either sit and be a loser but have momentary happiness from watching TV or eating or something or get up and earn your long term happiness by being successful.
 
Youtube is not the easiest thing out there, your going to have to really want it! and trust me if you work hard enough ANYTHING is possible. It might sound cheesy but its very true. For who ever reads this....just keep going! and enjoy it! it will pick up if you keep at it promise
