Even though I'm not in it for the subscribers or views....

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??? D:

This needs to stop. But how??? How do you stop the vicious cycle of constantly checking your stats like a crazy person?

I find myself doing this a couple times a day, and I'm not in it for the subs or views either. I think it kinda gives me a self esteem boost when I see it go up.

Nothing is wrong with you.. or is it there is something wrong with me also....:nailbiting2:

I check Socialblade twice a day.. have been known to check other similar sites every now and then... pull Youtube Analytics to cross compare the information.. :shifty2:

I dont know if there is a way to stop. I'm not sure if I need to stop, cause the numbers are going the right way. Up not Down. :happy2:

I figure if the numbers arn't doing you harm, it isn't a problem. Only when they do start to affect you, then there is something to be done.

I used to do this all the time, and I still have phases where I am glued to my stats. Mostly when I have posted something new. It's a part of wanting to share stuff with other people I guess. You want to know that people watch your vids, it's cool.

Nothing wrong with checking your stats (in fact, you have to! That's really the only way you can make sure that you are doing your job.). It's when you start to obsess over the stats that it becomes a problem; when you get upset because you lost a few followers, or get down because your views haven't been good recently. That's what you want to stay away from. I have desktop notifications for YouTube emails and I enjoy being on my computer and seeing a new subscriber come in. I'll occasionally hop over to my channel and see what the current standing is. Don't worry, you're fine :D
