Enable your account for external annotation links.

A different kind of normal..
I just added some annotations to one of my videos and this 'Enable your account for external annotation links.' came up at the top of my video in a blue bar. I clicked enable and this is what it said:

Your use of external links in Annotations will comply with Adwords policies, YouTube Ads Policies and YouTube Community Guidelines. Do not use external links in Annotations to redirect traffic across domains. Any violation of these policies may result in removal of the feature and/or termination of your YouTube account.

Does this mean I can't use annotations? Someone care to explain?D:

No, it just means they can't do anything against the "Adwords policies, YouTube Ads Policies and YouTube Community Guidelines"

So basically no spam, malware, virus, p0rn stuff etc. etc.

I use external annotations for my website, the only question I have is it allowed to redirect users directly from my site to my twitter?

just as example: josweb.info/twitter and you will get to twitter.com/josthereal

I don't think so since it says "Do not use external links in Annotations to redirect traffic across domains"
