Educative side of Youtube?

I've Got It
What are your thoughts? Do you think youtube has an educative side and teaches us values neccessary for life? And basically educates us in various aspects
 
I think youtube is useful in communicating and teaching ideas and values. It depends upon the person who use youtube. Youtube has helped lots of people in educating people with good things and information across the globe.
 
I've learned tons of stuff from YouTube but it's usually practical information from "how-to" videos. I do like stuff like Vsauce that stimulates me into checking out other topics in more depth.
 
education? from the internet? i heard about that once, then i ran into "How to basic" and i rather his teachings.
 
I like it though it could be much better if youtube stepped it up and made a whole educative section where you can filter by math or physics, ect. Online education is the future, and many sites use youtube, they better jump on it.
 
They already have made a educational section for youtube. Just google "youtube education", you will see they made a educational section for it. Go check it out.
 
I do tutorials on YouTube focused on web analytics (specifically Adobe Reports & Analytics, and Google Analytics). I love that I can go to YouTube at any time and find a tutorial on just about any software out there when I need to. Also Khan Academy got it's start with YouTube (and still posts all their videos there as far as I'm aware). I think YouTube is a great under-explored wonderland of educational opportunity.

Ah yes... Thank you. That dude was the first person I thought about when I saw this thread, but the name wasn't springing to mind. :D I learn stuff from him. I learned about that living rock creature thing from him.

There's no doubt we can learn tons of stuff from YT and the internet in general.
