Editing and rendering

It sounds good guys, well whatever works best for you guys! But it takes me about 5 minutes to edit, and then however long the video is it takes about 2x that to render, I have to convert my raw gaming videos as my capture card records in MPEG-2 and camtasia doesn't work with that so I have to convert it to MP4, that can takes a while depending on the length of the video

Well, I use Sony Vegas for video editing. It takes me a lot of time to actually cut the videos and everything, since that is just the nature of my channel, sometimes I have to go through a couple of hours of material in order to find the reactions that I need. As far as rendering is concerned, it depends on your machine. But honestly, I don't mind even if the PC takes it's time to render, that's the easy part in my case heh :)

So in case you are not pleased with the time it takes to render, you can either try different software or change/upgrade the PC.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to add that I use Bandicam for recording as well.

I do video effects, intros and other stuff. My last video is 6 seconds long. It took me about a week or so to fix it all together in After Effects. Then about an 15-20 minutes to render. My render times depends on how complex is the composition. In average its 30-45 mins. :)

I use Final Cut 7 and Final Cut X mainly, Rarely Sony Vegas, then after I use HandBrake to compress the files for uploading.

Premiere Pro for editing & encoding here. Editing depends on the complexity of the video. On some videos I've been pretty picky picking up music, syncing it to the action, or repeating a section of the music because it was short for the video. Rendering a 10 minute 1080p video takes around 5-7 minutes. Not sure what's taking some so long to render with Premiere Pro.
