Put a sock on one foot but not the other. I remember reading it makes your body confused in regulating your temperature, keeping you awake a little easier.
Keep busy and motivated. Don't get comfy; don't even lay down! Absolutly don't give into a nap. And I don't use any source of energy drinks at all, but coffee or energy drinks may help.
and splash face with water or take a colder shower may help too.
