E3 2013 discussion and news

Mauricio &* natsu84 I own a Wii... and I just felt like I got cheated. I feel like they tried way to hard to be a family game. The only games I truly enjoyed for it was Zelda, Tales of Symphonia 2, Mario Kart, Metroid and Super Smash Bro Brawl oh oh and Monster Hunters Tri. Beside that I think the games were kinda weak. Personally I am much more likely to buy a 3DS then a WiiU and it seems like the producers of games are starting to focus more on the 3DS then they are the WiiU. All major release on the WiiU are also on the 3DS and I've heard that the spec of the 3DS are stronger than the WiiU. (I don't know how much of that is true but. . I did hear that >.<

But their were great games that didnt do quite well but were for gamers like us. Like red steel 2, monster hunter, house of the dead,madworld, battleion wars 2, sin and punisment 2, xenoblade, and last story and more. They were there just harder to find i guess. But i do agree with u they did focus on the casual gamers, but this included all companies. Now with the wii u specs thats so untrue. The wii u has 2 gigs of ram while the the 3ds has 128 mb ram. Also xbox 360 and ps3 had 512 mb of ram but only half of it was for games. Also the gpgpu on the wii u is alot better then the gpus of ps3 and the 360. Just look at the rpg X and bayonetta 2 for wii u great looking games. Right now its a good system and by next year it will be a great system. I will own both the wii u and ps4 this generation. :)

I really enjoy my wiiu.. when i say i play on it a lot i mean a lot! Just on Monster hunter 3 ultimate alone i have put in 300hrs...and thats not even a joke lol. We even considered getting a second wii u for monster hunter so we can both play online but we went with a 3ds just because it was cheaper. When the wii was out we actually owned 3 wii systems and played a lot of different games as maui mentioned. Dont get me wrong i like my Halo, and my kingdom hearts but there was never enough titles i enjoyed to buy a PS3. I think a lot of people think the wiiu is just a game pad and the old wii. but it really is so much more. there are a lot of casual family games as you mentioned but nintendo to me is more of a fun with friends and family to serious gaming and i like having those options...where as something like the xbox is... shooter after shooter after shooter. you know =) hopefully soon we will see some of the developers pushing the wii u system and god hoping a new Zelda! you can come play our wiiu, and we will go over and play your ps4 ^_^ then we can all be awesome! Mauricio wants a ps4 ...but we will see. lol

I forgot about red steel. The thing is, I'm not worried about the graphics. I'm worried about the games themselves. Nintendo has recently disappointed me. I played more GameCube games on my Wii than I did Wii games. >.< . I thought the Wii had potential the same way I think the WiiU does but unless Produces think it good and start developing great content it's not for me. But then again they have different target audience. The Nintendo is family for the most part and since the Wii came out they got a reputation of not being for serious gamers. Which is part of the reason I think developers haven't really made many great games on it.

yea but Monster Hunter doesn't justify the buying of a console. I love Monster Hunter Tri! but yea... I would just crash at a friend house to play that if anything.

if you like tales, you might like this game called X.. coming for the wii u.. It is a RPG, not sure yet if it will be an mmo rpg or more like monster hunter where you go in a room with a group but I think it might get you enticed. Nicekid76

Well it's nice to see that we all can be friend ^_^. you all seem to have good taste in games.
btw. I'm not a fan of 1st person shooter... sometime I'll play one but I'm not.

Thank you! As long as u have fun playing that's all that matters! :) we don't do game videos often but when we do we keep it classy. I can tell u and I have a similar taste in games for sure. Prob anime too :)

LOL depends what kind of anime are you two into. I'm into FMA, Angel Beat, Fruit Basket (not really), Spice and Wolf, Eden of The East!!!, Attack on Titans (not for the faint of heart) Kaze No Stigma, Baka and Test, ummm. . . Oh Suzuka (aka the first anime I ever watched subbed in my life, and first anime I went out of my way to watch)
