Doing a giveaway

I see loads of give aways on youtube and they don't get removed.
And I agree with Kex,they shouldn't ban them

I think its just a way to get people to subscribe, I would never do one personally, if people like your videos theyre going to subscribe without the giveaway!

Unfortunately though it seems people tend to take more of an interest in a person/channel when they notice they're having a give away, for example, you might choose to only click through to someones channel because you notice they're having a give away, without the give away you might not have bothered. They're good for subs and views mostly but not usually for gaining long time subs/audience.
