Does Youtube Delete Views?

When there is a huge repeat of views from the same user they start to delete views

YouTube usually deletes fake views or bot views. It happened to me in my old VLOG channel. YouTube keeps original views.

yea that would only make sense if they did. if they didnt do that, I could keep on viewing my own vids myself

The only advice is to concentrate on making good content and not getting too attached to the numbers.

yea, I've learned to involve myself in a more positive community like this, and it's the reason why I'm on this forum now, because it makes a more positive approach to th cod community, which is very hostile if you don't know.

I was wondering because I've recently seen either myself lose views on videos with 100 views. these videos then went down to numbers like 10 to 20 views. has this happened to you?

Well that's probably someone who always refreshes your video so you will get more views but YouTube knows that so they delete those views because it's only from 1 person... So YouTube sees that as fake views

its either that or a viewbot, thats what i think happened. i think its probably a viewbot, because i don't know any people who spam view my vids.

Yeah I know, but I got also viewbotted in the past and that was a random person that just conctantly refreshed the video because he know that all the fake views + a little part of the real views would get deleted :/ I'm just trying to say that you never know

i'm guessing if you click on it to much by mistake it'll reset

Absolutely. You only have to look in your stats on social blade to see it happen from time to time!

speaking of which is social blade as good as people say it is, because i don't have an account. Like is it very specific and accurate with statistics?
