Does Time of Upload matter?

By the time I'm done editing my videos and such, it's usually pretty late, around midnight or even later. Is it better to wait until the next day to upload the video? Or does it not really matter?
 
I've been told time of day doesn't matter, just day of the week. Also, if your viewers expect a video on a certain day of the week, you should make sure it happens.
 
I like to wait a day, just to get my mind off of things. Only because I tend to miss mistakes in my edit after being on the computer for hours.

BUT, time wise ~ it depends. If you have a schedule, stick with it.

If not then I would tell me viewers the time of the upload then upload it then.
 
For smaller channels it doesnt really matter but once youve got a reasonable audience, thats when i would say the upload time matters more :
 
It depends on your audience - you'll get the most traction on your videos if the majority of your subs see it right away.

For me, that means releasing around midnight, as I have a very active Euro-audience. But for many people, it may mean releasing at 3-4pm, to capitalize on the post-school, pre-dinner internetting time.
 
it might be late for you now but alright time for other time zone. it's best to see which time zone most of your viewers are from and adjust your posting times according to their suitability.
