Does Reddit Help Promote a Channel???

I've been debating on this one for a while and unfortunately have never used Reddit, so I'm not exactly that familiar with it either. I produce tutorial videos, mainly automotive based. So would it help out my channel???

It's a great way to get views, although both the moderators and users can throw a hissy fit if you post too much of your own content. I don't see the big deal though!

The way that this topic is titled is the wrong way to go about it. "Reddit" does not help promote a channel. Rather, you can be a contributor to subreddits, providing material that you think people would enjoy, only *some* of which might *happen* to be your own material.

If you think you can approach reddit just to promote yourself, then you're going to have a bad time. You have to be an active participant, not just an advertiser
