does my channel feel a bit...dead?

Yeah 1 of the things that annoys me at times is the lack of comments. I would like to see some feedback on occasion good or bad as long as it's constructive. For me currently, feedback is probably a little more important, as subs and likes mean nothing to me if I don't know what I'm doing right or wrong. I guess even likes and dislikes sort of help a bit. I know my channel is about gaming memories (which should sort of be raw) and reviews and other gaming stuff but there is still the editing side that's involved and requires technique, experimenting and days infront of a PC trying to edit it in a way you think is right. I mean, I enjoy watching my videos that involves my friends but trying to figure out how to do things right with no way of knowing what your audience wants is hard. Although I've been told by 1 to do more dual commentaries which is why I've stopped doing single commentaries as even I find myself boring doing solo.

plus dual commentary is so much easier. really helps you out when you don't waste all your yelling points in one day because of your lack of friends and because yelling is the only thing people seem to enjoy me doing when I'm not around others d:

For me it's more the issue that when gaming alone, I can get a little too immersed at times and I can tend to go quiet which results in lack of commentary, the irony and dilemma when enjoying myself lol. This is significantly worse with stealth games lmao I've got a mate I've known for more than 20yrs and I've been bugging him to play GTA IV with me, we've got around 8hrs+ worth of footage. There are some boring bits in a sense that I had to keep but there are a lot of bits that get me cracking up as well. It's also the first time we've ever done a full playthrough of a game togheter. There will be more, only downside is, his passion for games ends with GTA titles and he's a bit close minded and because of this, I consider him the younger, more ignorant, brother xD I yell at him heaps to. So I'll only be doing playthroughs or let's plays with friends from now on.

do what I do and edit it like crazy.
I spend 2 hours making each video and that is if it is not a montage, those take 4 hours
 
I guess is something every starting YouTube has, just keep producing high quality content and appropriatly advertise your videos on other forums and such. Don't just register to advertise though, people won't like you for doing so.

My channel and videos are that way too, no one bothers commenting, unless I'm talking about something controversial like saying how much I liked Aliens Colonial Marines for example. So don't worry your channel isn't dead, people just don't feel like commenting.

I always try to reply to comments as much as possible.
