Does it get easier after 1000 subs?

After a certain number of subscribers do you guys find it easier to get them. Like I'm at the very beginning and it feels like you have to scratch and claw for each sub so after 100 (or any number) does it feel like they come in more naturally if just at a small number per week/month? :)

I'd say the determining factor for making YT "easy" after 1k subs is whether or not you're passing that mark quickly by finding a niche market or hitting the YT searches and/or suggested videos.

But, either way, once you get to the natural growth stage, it's not easier. It's harder in many ways. The grind kicks in, but is leveled out with the rewards for a fun roller coaster of ups and downs.

The only time YouTube is easy, is when you hit a new market that brings on exponential growth where video quality is not as important as simply posting content on that subject. It's like winning the YT lottery to find that, but if you do, that's when you'll see YT as easy. But, after that, get ready for the grind again.

What number does that natural growth stage begin around?

I have no idea since I won the YT lottery with an untouched market that I had to myself for 3 months. In that time, I was able to establish the lion's share for the entire market that has leveled out recently. I would only be speculating at what it is, and I'm sure every market, type of channel, etc has a different number.

I get natural growth now, but as for when I would have, that's something I've wondered myself. Do some research on channels in your market via social blade. Find those channels that are growing steadily and track their size. You'll find a correlation soon, giving you a far better answer than a guess.

Cheers bro! :)

I don't know that there is a magical number where things just start taking off once you hit that point. But the more subscribers you have, the more chances there are that someone might share a video. Also the time that goes by on the way to whatever random number you're working towards is HOPEFULLY going to mean more time spent improving your content and ability to market yourself.

In theory yes because the more subs you have the more views you should be getting, since 10% of your subs is usually the common view rate, 10% of 1000 is better than 10% of 100. So if you're averaging more views you have a higher chance to rank quicker than before.

In general yes but only if the channel has a healthy percentage of highly engaged subscribers (10-25%). For example a channel with 900 subscribers from which 300 are highly engaged will out perform a 30 000 subs channel if it has only 15-200 highly engaged subscribers!

In theory it does, and in reality it does because getting a higher sub count means more views, more active viewers, higher rankings, and as time you will publish more video so your reach will increase. I think you should just keep plugging away at what your doing and you will start to see growth and it will slowly, slowly, and slowly get bigger, at least that's what I've noticed. Remember you get rewarded for the work you do today, next week, month, and years to come.
